Almost everything he says about DoorDash comes packaged as ad copy, and it's consistent — groceries, forgotten ingredients, promo codes, the pitch that you never have to leave the house 1:02:16 28:35 39:34 52:40 46:50 14:46 57:19 48:16 27:06 34:29 26:51. Within that copy he keeps landing on the same genuine joke, that avoiding other people entirely is the real selling point, and in one bit he says a photo of the bag left on the floor is basically all the friendship he wants from anyone 44:39 27:06. That's undercut once, hard, by a pandemic-era rant where he calls the company's incompetence unforgivable and says he'd sooner wish Ebola on the CEO than pretend delivery drivers are heroes because the country decided to feel that way for a few months 43:41. Everywhere else it's just throwaway shorthand for how soft modern life has gotten, once even used to argue Romans had it harder because they didn't have Postmates or Uber 1:58:39.
