Tim’s take

He treats Barstool as the model of independent media beating legacy outlets, lumping himself and Dave Portnoy together as "the media now" stealing eyeballs from ESPN and the New York press 24:10 43:21. He calls Portnoy a visionary and admires how the company built a cult following out of nothing, even though he says outright he doesn't know much about how it actually started 28:45 34:41. His one real complaint is cultural rather than business — he likes the funny, raunchy, non-PC stuff but can't stand the "Saturdays are for the Boys" slogan and the unemployed bros who chant it 28:45.</br>
