Tim’s take

His stated position is that New York wore him out — he calls it miserable, wishes the whole city ill during an opening-night breakdown, and says he's glad to be leaving 49:17 59:43. He backs this up with grim local color: cops who'd rather shoot a fleeing driver than let a chase drag on, and a mixtape-and-CD grift preying on tourists in Central Park 10:36 2:17. Even his forecast for the place is bleak, folding it into a Pentagon study about future mega-city slums 1:41:44.

That said, the hate is not the whole story — he breaks into a straight-faced parody of 'I Happen to Like New York,' complete with Battery Park and stolen phones, and singles out Staten Island's mom-and-pop character as what still makes the city worthwhile against corporate Manhattan 1:41:19 1:37:58. He also admits he's essentially only ever lived in New York or LA, which undercuts the idea that leaving is simple 1:14:38.

"I mean how many guys are really getting the essential truths right right right how many people really? As a slight you have a slight speech impediment it's not big it's not great. What is it from? I don't know you don't know where's it from yeah? It's like a slight it's like a slight right. I just never learned to speak properly. I guess you think that's what it is I mean they sent me to speak cuz people probably listening to this now wondering Raise sounds there's a my he's a but there's a mild Affectation to what you're saying like it as if I put it on no no you're not putting it on But it's like it's somewhat like people like what is it? What do you think? Yeah, it's I don't know they have like clinical. I just don't say ours properly. I say ours properly I think it's I have a small tongue. I think that doesn't help. Yeah, it's a small tongue I think it would be a big tongue. I think you'd have a big no I thought your tongue was too big for your mouth No, it's more like because you have to like get the tongue to the back of the mouth sometimes Right. You don't think about your consonants and stuff, but like when I've tried to improve it It's like, you know, it's just like my tongues just like is to get back and for takes a while Cuz you always sound a little buzzed. That's what it is You always sound like a little buzz like a little drunk I mean Ray got pulled over and when you have one beer you sound shit face like literally one beer you go like this We got pulled over by a cop coming from an open mic in Long Island in Suffolk County, Long Island in a bar and The cop was like hey, man. Where are you coming from?"
