Most of what he says about Gilbert comes out of the Gilbert Goons story: a cluster of privileged, allegedly Mormon teens attacking kids with apparent police protection, culminating in the murder of Preston Lord 4:06 7:16 9:32. He calls the town's wealth fake-rich by national standards, mocks its Olive Garden mansions and desert pools, and says the cops are either incompetent or corrupt for not arresting anyone 9:32 17:19. Once arrests happen he flips to taking personal credit for pushing the story national, thanking the citizens of Gilbert for what he frames as his own doing 11:38.
Outside that case he just uses "Gilbert Arizona" as a stock punchline for bland suburban gated-community living — a Chili's, a place to enjoy pills-and-Delta-fee-tier contentment, a step down from Beverly Hills or even North Korea's tourist pitch 41:36 47:00 38:16.
